Paths with Heart: An Introduction to Obsidian

£30 per person

Venue: Pulborough, West Sussex, UK

An introduction to the philosophy, process, and elements involved in the nature-based ceremonies we hold and guide

Blue Dragonfly

You are invited to spend a co-creative day in circle with your guides, Rachel and Tatiana.

There will be opportunities for sharing something of yourself and what is calling you at this time.

Rachel will introduce the work of Obsidian, and introduce you to The Four Shields, a nature-based system for aiding sense-making. She’ll also be covering some of the following topics: The Way of Council, rites of passage, nature as teacher, the Vision Fast, Intent, the Medicine Walk.

The emerging themes of the conversation will reveal what is calling to unfold among us, and we will use these to shape where participants wish to go from here. We’ll discuss the possibilities of continuing the work in these challenging times: doing Medicine Walks, and perhaps an overnight Fast sometime in the coming weeks, and/or beginning the journey towards a full Vision Fast next summer.

In the interests of enabling this work to be accessible to all in these difficult times, the usual day workshop fee will be reduced to £30 on this occasion.

Social distancing will be observed and the event will take place in the open air, regardless of the weather. Please bring your own beverages (a stove is available for tea-making), a packed lunch, warm clothing and umbrella (just in case). Camp chairs will be provided but you can bring your own seating option if you prefer.

This workshop is open to all, however numbers will be limited due to the necessity of social distancing.

Venue details supplied when you book your place.
